songs of summer

the songs of summer fill the morning spaces in my mind where I held my little girl in the calm between dark skies and the red noise on the television and her pale blue eyes

“London, London, London, London is calling you…what are you waiting for, what are you searching for?”

Benjamin Clemantine and pretty British girls on LA rooftops come and go like a dream between these waking words

pale wandering muses searching, drifting and falling alive in the night from borrowed dreams, from photographs and airplanes, from once upon a time in blue Spanish eyes in Mexico

waiting for you

yes

you

there in the half light where the sunlight catches your eye and you are lost in these memories

like riding my bike past the wooden fences down the path on early mornings between the calm and the storm

awake … asleep

good morning love
